Alex is the Research and Policy Analyst at Ontario Student Voices. 

Alex Nguyen holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary (AB) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Thomas University (NB). With a deep passion for higher education policy and advocacy, Alex has extensive experience in governance, policy research, and advocacy at the student, provincial, and national levels. She has served as President of the St. Thomas University Students’ Union and Vice Chair of the New Brunswick Student Alliance, where she led policy initiatives on student financial aid, housing, and the international student experience.

At the national level, Alex contributed to post-secondary education policy discussions as a Research & Policy Associate with the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. She currently serves as co-chair of the Canadian Red Cross National Youth Resource Group, where she continues to champion youth engagement in policy and community initiatives.
