Olamipo leads our advocacy efforts and works on cultivating strategic partnerships. On a day to day basis he is involved with developing and implementing advocacy strategies, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering partnerships to enhance the organization's strategic goals.
With a rich background in leadership and community engagement, Olamipo brings a wealth of experience to our team. Previously, he served as the President of the Sault College Students’ Union, where his efforts contributed to the establishment of Ontario Student Voices, an initiative he supported as a founding member of the board of directors. Furthermore, Olamipo played a crucial role in implementing vital support structures for Sault College students, including a legal protection program and a peer mentoring initiative. In addition to his dedication to student advocacy, Olamipo has made significant contributions to various organizations, including serving as President of a Toastmasters club and Co-President of Fairways and Fathers, a charity created to support men's mental health.
His passion for positive change extends far beyond his professional endeavours. Olamipo is a graduate of Sault College, holding an advanced diploma in Aviation Technology - Flight, and possesses a Transport Canada Commercial Pilot’s License with a Multi-IFR rating. With his unique blend of skills and passion, he is committed to amplifying the student voice and enriching the overall student experience.
